Girls Spark is an organization created by teen girls for teen girls! Our mission is to provide middle & high school girls with a safe, supportive empowering environment where they can learn, collaborate and overcome adversity in facing today's social issues.

We are guided by a passionate teen leadership board of high school girls and an adult board with a shared vision of helping girls navigate the challenges social issues they face in today's world.

Our events are designed to Ignite Awareness, Overcome Adversity and Inspire Others!

THANK YOU FOR MAKING OUR 5TH ANNIVERSARY SUMMIT SHINE!

We are beyond grateful to everyone who joined us for Girls Spark’s 5th Anniversary Summit! To the 200 amazing middle and high school girls who attended—let’s keep the spark alive!

From learning and laughter to dancing and connection, the day was unforgettable. Thank you to our incredible board members, volunteers, vendors, sponsors, keynote speaker Adrean Turner, and our inspiring workshop speakers who made it all possible.

A special thanks to founder Julia Kasper and Board President Laura Kasper for their vision and leadership, and to Chancellor Marilyn J. Wells and Penn State Brandywine for hosting us. We’re also incredibly grateful to our Summit leads Nicole Stephenson and Heather Kay.

Congratulations to our graduating Teen Leadership Board officers—Eliana Magallanez, Sofia Bass, Ilana Mintz, and Julia Mintz—on their well-deserved awards and lasting impact.

Stay tuned—official event photos coming soon!

THE GIRL WHO WENT FOR IT!

Meet our Founder, Julia Kasper

In 2018, as a high school junior I created Girls Spark in order to make a positive difference in the lives of young women. Throughout my life I watched my mom, a President and CEO of her own business, attend various women's conferences, featuring inspiring leaders.

I searched for something similar to that speaks to the issues teen girls face but found nothing. In fact, almost every girl in my age group faces some sort of social, physical or emotional struggle and has to find a way to deal with it. Unfortunately, we often feel like we have to overcome these CHALLENGES alone!

THANK YOU TO OUR ANNUAL SPONSORS
